Vuesociety – Fashion Blog Turned Online Retailer

Hey guys! I know I haven’t written in awhile, but I’m here now, and extremely excited to tell you about a new online boutique called Vuesociety. Vuesociety was originally founded in 2008 as a fashion blog and has since been turned into a fashion eCommerce site.

VueSociety Online Boutique

Running a fashion blog is a business in itself. Taking it a step further by buying and selling clothing for your own company is a smart way to do what you love. :)  Which is why I admire Rachel Kim, the founder of Vuesociety, for taking such a big leap from fashion blogging to owning her own online boutique. You go girl!

Vuesociety carries labels such as Boulee, Again, StyleStalker, Blaque Label and many others from around the world.  I paired some of my favorites from the showroom with a few pieces from my own wardrobe below. :)  Enjoy!

Red Lip Dress by Again (my absolute favorite)

Pale Peach Asymmetrical Tube Dress by Blaque Label

Flaunt TRUXS Skirt by Again

Skyler Mini Dress by Boulee

Okay, so I’m a little obsessed with bows, but you should be too! They’re the best accessory to wear for a little feminine flair. I especially enjoyed rockin’ this oversized bow that I borrowed from my dear friend Yuki at a shoot I did last week. It gives any little black dress the perfect amount of playfulness and works well with a huge Swarovski Hello Kitty pendant as pictured in the second photo. ;)

You’ll see what I mean when I say “obsessed with bows” in future outfit posts. :D

Here are some lovely bow headbands I found for you in case you want to join the fun:

I had a blast previewing Bri Seeley’s Illumination collection last week. Her designs are both comfortable and incredibly fun to wear. My favorite piece from Bri’s Illumination collection was ‘The Leticia’ cropped blazer. The blazer hit perfectly, just above my hips and accentuated my waist over the loose top.

At first I was a little intimidated by the loose dresses and tops in her collection as loose clothing tends to make me look short and wide, but as you can see above, ‘The Bea’ dress and top were easily paired with jackets and belts to highlight my waist.

‘The Bea’ Lavender Dress, ‘The Letica’ Cropped Blazer, and “The Juliana’ Black Swing Jacket from Bri Seeley’s Illumination Collection will be available at her online boutique in March 2012.

I have one more Bri Seeley design to show you, but that won’t go up until later this week. It’s a fun one so check back! :)

About Couture Petite

Petite Fashion Blog | Couture Petite author In a world far, far away (Asia), petite women are able to walk (or click) into any clothing boutique and immediately find a dress that hits the legs at the perfect length. Sadly, I live in the western hemisphere, where petite women’s clothing is taken into account much less. Remember the days when Target dresses would fit without being tailored? Me neither. It’s a shame.

Luckily, there is a community of Petite Fashion Bloggers who have their eyes set on being both fashionable and size conscious, many with blog title tags conveying their longing for finding the perfect fit. I am embarking on a journey to find these women and learn their chic ways. I also hope to test/review [fashion] apps, attend shows, eat delicious food, promote small businesses, and develop my personal style.

Hello, my name is Irene and I am yet another Petite Fashion Blogger. I enjoy long nights on the internet and the frequent cup of caffeinated happiness. My passions lie in Social Media, Cause Marketing, Interactive Design, Cupcakes, Front-end web development with WordPress, and Petite Fashion.

Subscribe to Couture Petite via Facebook, RSS, Bloglovin, or Twitter. I’m sure we’ll enjoy each other’s company and learn a great deal from one another. :D

Love~<3
